I kinda forgot about my research paper topic being due tomorrow.

Do you guys have any suggestions on what I should do, and would be easy to get 5 - 10 pages worth of stuff?

I am thinking about either:
Smart House <-- Computer controlled blinds/lights/and stuff
Computer Cooling <-- Conventional cooling such as heat sinks, and water cooling and TECs
Software/Mp3 Pirating <-- Cool subject, but I dont think I could find enough info easily for it

What do you guys think about those topics, or any other interesting topics related to computer/technology/internet?

smart house is a pretty cool idea... could probably get 10 pages out of it too... man, i wish i had easy papers to right in my english classes like that... we had to write about what the scarlet letter A really freaking meant, like anyone cares... :disgust:

How about something like Computer history and evolution? Trace it from the beginings(basic info) to today and what we can do(stick in mp3 pirating/warez issues, etc.) then go into the future(smart home's,Terminator 2 type stuff, etc.) That's easily enough to fill 10 pages. :)

Artificial Intelligence is where it's at.

I wrote a 13 page research paper in one weekend on it for my sophomore honours high school english class last year on fuzzy logic.

including pseudo-code to illustrate concepts is mucho 1337.

quantum mechanics has a habit of blowing people away. That's what I'd do but I have previous research into it. These are all good ideas

if i had to choose between the three, i would choose the most contraversial one. reason being is that you can talk about the history, then the present, then offer your take on the situation and what you believe the future will be. just YOUR TAKE can take 3 pages, justify it (bullshiet). if that doesn't produce a 20 page paper, nothing will. :) good luck.
