help my washer suddenly stopped

it was in the middle of a cycle... suddennly it just stopped. I took all my laundry out and I want the water to drain

its a whirlpool

any clues?
 
i've used a few broken washing machines in my time... i've just tried changing the cycle a few times... try telling it to spin... sometimes that'll force it to drain.
 
you any good with a DMM?

any noises? vibration? can you hear any relays clicking?

to just drain the water UNPLUG it and THEN turn the water pump by hand.

stuffed inside somewhere there will be a schematic, scan or post a picture of it

See if the breaker that feeds the washer is in the trip free position.

Then move on to finding a blown fuse. I've had fuses go on them before.
