HELP! My ThinkPad Notebook LCD is stuffing up!

My ThinkPad Notebook LCD is stuffing up! Its making many lines go from one side to the other.
But when preasure is put on the middle of the left side of the LCD it nearly fixes itself.
Can anyone help me!?
 
Sorry its Australian slang for "broken". Has anyone got an idea what could be wrong? Iv got the LCD from the casing and cant seem to see anything wrong. Is there any cables or anything that might be out of place?
