HELP my taskbar is huge

My hubby installed a new video card today because the color on the monitor was real dark(did not help). Somehow he changed the taskbar. It is about 1 1/2 inches tall now. I have tried dragging it back down but I either have to go all the way to the bottom or it pops all the way back up. Please help me.
 
you need to drag it very slowly to the right position... if you go to the smallest size (with it still being on the screen) is it still this monsterous size? Any chance all your other windows appear as big? If so then maybe you need to go to your appearence tab and set it back to windows standard... otherwize depening on your OS you could always log out .. delete your profile and log back in :F
 
No, you need to change the resolution in the Display Settings. You can get there by going to start/settings/active desktop/customize my desktop and there you are. Go to settings and in the right lower hand corner is the screen area setting, change it to something higher.
