Help ! My Second Computer Will Not Boot !

OK, before all this, I have had no problems. I reformatted the HD so I can install linux to make a server computer. However, after I reintalled the HD, it booted up but I forgot to put in the CD. I realized the cd drive i put the cd in, does not work, so i switched the cd drive. After that, everytime I try to boot up my computer, the monitor stays blank. I have tried 2 different video cards, an AGP and a PCI video card.

The computer Specs are:

A7Pro Asus Motherboard
AMD 1000+ processer
Two- PC133 Ram 256 mb
Maxtor 80 gb, 5400 rpm.

Not while the computer was running, I hope?

Try taking out the new CD-ROM drive again and see if the system can POST.
