Help my Power Supply!!!!

Right now my power supply is making a noise like a motorcycle. I'm guessing its the fan, but could it be something else?

Its a Dell Power Supply, so if I need to get a new one does it have to be a Dell one cuz of proprietary reasons??? Its no longer under warranty for sure.

prob a propietry power supply that only dell and actually replace. Though it could just be the fan. They are no other moving parts in a power supply other then the fan. You can pop the PS open and replace the fan. though you might have to connect the fan to an external power connector.

Dont pop the psu open unless you know what your doing. As almost anyone here knows there are dangerous voltages in there.....

Also it may be proprietary in shape but you can just go buy a ATX power supply and replace it. It might not fit the case but who needs a case. 🙂
