I got new recently (skate shoes, like I've gotten as long as I can remember) and after a few minutes of wearing them, my feet feel like they're BURNING HOT. it's almost unbearable. then, I found the problem, or so I thought. these shoes had no ventilation holes. so I took them to the shoe shop and had tons of large holes punched in the toe and two on the inner side near the sole like most shoes have. I'm wearing them now and I have the same problem. the shoe shop guy said the synthetic lining might be making them hot, but my old shoes have the same thing. my old shoes are just about identical to these ones, suede with synthetic liner, same style, same everything except that my old shoes are much much thicker and have much less ventilation than the new ones do now, which would make me think they would be the hot ones. but no, my old shoes still feel nice and cool. I just did a quick search for "hot feet" on google groups, and after I sorted through all the fetish messages, I found one in bicycling newsgroup that said some pepple have a problem where shoes that put pressure on certain parts of the foot can pinch nerves and make feet *feel* really hot. I couldn't find any other msg or site that talked about that though. does anybody have any ideas? at all?!?! I can't accept having wasted $50 on these things.
