Help my new build constantly reboots

So this new build constantly reboots for a reason I am not fully aware of. It reboots on none stressing activities such as browsing the web or opening an application.

Specs:
FX-6300 cpu
Sapphire R9 290 tri x graphics card
m5a78l usb 3.0 motherboard
Ballitix ram 4x2gb
Corsair CX750 psu
Western digital 1tb

Also I am not here to discuss over the fact that my r9 290 can be bottlenecked by the fx6300, the r9 290 is only there temporarily. Please help me!

do you have the right voltage.and also what are they??

Yeah. You may need to just properly set up the RAM timings + voltage, OP.

I stopped using Ballistix for the most part after having some of their "infamous" DDR2 go bad on me, like so many others did.

I obtained some Ballistix Sport low-profile DDR3 from a friend, in trade for some of my Gskill DDR3. It came in a combo from Newegg, but was utterly incompatible with my friend's mobo.

I used it in a build for another friend, on an Intel 1155 rig, and it was perfectly fine.

RAM mfgrs don't always do extensive testing with AMD rigs, since they are such a tiny part of the market.

Edit: You did remember the standoffs, right, when mounting the mobo?

Looks like pretty standard specs. 9-9-9-24, 1.5v DDR3-1600.

Does that mobo have onboard video? I didn't search the model, but it has "78L" in the model, which often means 780/5G "Lite", aka 760G. Which should have the HD3000 IGP on the chipset.

Try using the IGP (may have to un-install the drivers for the 290, and install older drivers). The would tell us if the problem was the 290, or the power draw, although the 290 shouldn't be drawing much power just web browsing.

Edit: Scratch that idea. Although that board has the 760G chipset, and that chipset has an IGP, the board doesn't make use of it, and there are no video outputs.

Obj okay and I also wish to mention that there is a restart only after I install the r9 drivers and also that this message appears several times on occasions saying display driver has failed but has recovered. Or something along those lines

That would be a big coincidence, lol. I would start by removing the drivers and revert to the ones you had.

Also, you mentioned reboots. Are you getting blue screens, or just reboots? That may help determine if it is a software issue or hardware issue.
