Help my monitor or Video card please!

i have a Sony 21inch Multiscan E540 monitor and a Geforce 3 video card. I always leave my computer on and monitor is set to go off in 30mins if comp. is untouch.


So my monitor will get blury once maybe twice a week. the only remedy i found is to Turn off the monitor and turn it back on in like 10 seconds.


Does anyone know what is wrong w/ my monitor or i need a new video card?

Well, since you interacted with the monitor to fix the problem I think it's the monitor. but never jump to conclusion, always try another monitor to see if it happens again.
