..still no luck on improving my throughput when downloading...I just built a new computer, but using the same external modem (only 2 months old)...I can never hit the old 5+ KPS I was getting with the old system...If I were to take it off, dial the same ISP with the old system, and try to download the same file from the same site, the throughput would stay steady at around 5+ KPS...Now, with my new KA7 mobo, I start at around 2-3KPS tops, and see it drop to a whopping 800 in a matter of no time =(
I am using an external 3Com/USR...is my COMM port jacked? need to adjust some settings within Windows? HELP!!!! =)
