Hey guys,
So I'm running Vista x64, and I have a wierd incompatibility between my motherboard an my sound card.
If I start the OS up with the sound card enabled (onboard disabled of course), my ethernet driver fails to load.
If I start the OS up with the sound card disabled, the ethernet works fine. I can then re-enable the sound card, and it all works fine. EXCEPT - the configuration software for the sound card needs the driver to load at boot, or it doesn't run correctly.
WTF??
I've got all the latest drivers from nVidia and VIA (Envy24 HT-S chipset sound card). I know it works, because if I start things one at a time it's fine, but all at once no go!
Help!!!
