Help! My Kenwood died :(

I've been using this drive in my system for about a year and a half and unfortunently it died. It now has an odd problem. Sometimes it will power up no problems and other times it acts like there's no power to the drive. Sometimes the read light will flash on and off in a sequential pattern (on off on off......). Has anyone had this problem? Any ideas?

Over at the THG Community they said that it is a power issue, has anyone had this problem and found a fix for it or maybe a schematic of the circuitry??
