So any one know what is wrong with my Hard Drive :?

Doomstar :! its the fileserver

C drive = 68.3GB (partition of 200GB 1st WD ) IDE
F drive= 117GB ( partion of 200GB 1st WD) IDE
D drive = 200GB ( 200GB WD) IDE << corrupted drive ;(
I drive = 279 ( 300GB HDD WD ) Sata

if the drive's corrupted to the point where Windows can't access it, I'd try booting to the recovery console with the WinXP cd (assuming you're using XP) and navigate to the D:/ drive. Type chkdsk /r at the console prompt, and see if WinXP can repair the corruption enough to access the drive on your next boot.

good luck

You can also try downloading a linux distro (ubuntu or whatever suits your fancy) and boot that up to see if you can access the data you need. Sometimes when Windows doesn't recognize the drive, linux will.

I'm with ITJunkie here; if the Windows recovery console can't fix the corruption, at least download a Linux bootable cd image like Knoppix or Ubuntu, boot off the CD, and when you get to the Linux desktop you might be able to see your existing Windows install and recoverable data.

I've heard a program called GetDataBack mentioned a lot in these kinds of threads. I've used R-studio with some success.

yeah that worked 🙁 i only wished if i could repair it back to normal ;( i got my important file out of the hard drive. I tried Stellar Phoenix FAT & NTFS and it didn't work but GetDataback worked like a charm.
