Help my friend with his computer problems...

His firewall is blocking the https port for some (unknown) reason? Or perhaps he doesn't accept security certificates from anywhere?

Last time I checked, security certificates are handled by the browser. If he tried two, I would basically rule that out because the odds of both rejecting them by default is quite low.

I'm leaning toward port 443 being closed.
