Ok, here's what I made:

white meat chicken cubed
snow peas
zuchinni (SP?)
green pepper
jalepeno peppers - dried and cut thinly, mostly just for kick
flour and water - for thickening
milk and water for sauce
rice noodles
pinch salt
olive oil

Ok here's the problem, its good and all, but it has no dominant flavour aside from the curry. Its boring. Nothing stands out really and I don't feel like eating it for this reason.

Anyone have any ideas on what would make it better?

sprinkle finely chopped corriander leaves on it
re-cook it with a big stick of cinnamon.. maybe 3/4 whole cloves and peppercorns

make a tomato/onion/corriander/lime side salad

Am I missing something, or is that recipe missing....curry seasonings?

LOL I forgot to put that in there! There is about 3 tblsp worth of powder in it IIRC.

I like the corriander and cinnamon idea ajpa123, I think I will try that now.

Thanks for the help! Really I do appreciate it a lot :)

One more hint, don't use curry powder..

Buy all the spices in their natural state (seed, whatever) and use a grinder to make your own. It's fun experimenting.

Onion seeds are tasty. Next time, try this. Step one is heat the oil, roast some onion seeds and whatever else you need and go from there.. The taste of onion seeds add substance to the taste.

Buy fresh ginger and use a cheese grater to make fine strands to add to the curry. Ginger is yummy..

And oh yeah.. where's the onions and garlic in ur recipe

You can add sour cream, yoghurt and oil and thicken/add to the juice. Just keep adding water as it evaporates.

Don't use flour to thicken.

Just random thoughts on a guy who likes to cook
