Help! My computer is acting weird.

I just got my new Asus P4t-e and 1.8a Northwood cpu. The weird thing is It post with no keyboard is plug into it. It doesn't post when I plug in my keyboard. But when i plug in a mini keyboard it will post! I tried two different regular size key boards and it won't post, no video. One time the power didn't turn on.

Is this a power supply problem or maybe a bad motherboard>?

I am just putting in the video card, Memory, motherboard, and cpu in the case now. This is drivin crazy.

Please help.
 
had same thing happen on my AMD. one keyboard worked fine while the other didnt work at all. i took the keyboard that wasnt working and put it on another one of my computers and it worked fine
