Help! My back is completely sunburned after a trip to hawaii...

Yes i'm stupid for not using sunscreen but im fairly dark and have never previously got a sunburn... but boy do I have one now... my entire back is itching like nothing I have experienced before!

Any tips or anything that can alleviate some of these sunburn-itches would be GREATLY APPRECIATE...

PS im only surviving right now because theres a cold/wet towel draped over my back.... anything better I can do?

any lotion with Aloe.

I had severe burns when i went to Florida...and aloe lotions saved me. Is there pain? or only itching?

Yup, Aloe will help sooth your back. Other than that just getr some rest and stay out of the sun!

we have this bottle of blue goop we put on sunburns, i don't know what is in it, it works

i had some sunburns a long time ago that were so bad i had pus and ooze soaking through my shirt, it was on my shoulders

Wet towels are great.

if you wanna peel like crazy...use aloe. if you dont, just use a really REALLY good moisturizer without any scent to it. keep applying it a few times every few hours

go to the store and buy a thing of quaker oatmeal, then put it in a sock tie it off and put it under the water while you run a bath. It feels OHHHHHH so good.

use lots of aloe, take some advil, and do the wet towel thing....that's what I always do. Oh, and drink water.
