I have an ASUS P/I-P55TP4(XE) and the motherboard itself boots but it will not boot off of a floppy drive or a hard drive. It hangs at intializing PNP cards and that is it. I have checked all the jumpers but this thing has me stumped. I cannot use Ctrl-Alt-Del at this point either. Can someone please help me with this? I am about to pull my hair out!!

first check that the cables to floppy, cd drive & hdd are secure. if that doesn't help, try enabling reset configuration in bios & save changes on exit.
did you change the m/board battery just before this started happening? if so, re-autodetect all your drives!

Check the boot settings in the bios.
It should be automatically set up as: 1st:floppy, 2nd: IDE HD, 3rd: CDrom drive
or something like that.
