This is a really strange problem ... the monitor works fine on all resolutions on the VGA cable, except 1920x1200. Here are the symptoms at the resolution:
- 30 seconds after going on the resolution, monitor turns black, and "freezes". What I mean by a freeze is that all the buttons on the monitor that adjust everything are dead, including the power button. I can't turn the monitor off with the power button.
- Whenever I try to restore to factory settings, I get the same "freeze"
- Whenever I try to auto-adjust, the monitor continuously displays the "auto-adjusting" message in the center and it doesn't disappear. The monitor also "freezes" because I can't turn it off or do anything really.
Anyone have a shot at this problem? I've tried replacing both the VGA cable and tried this on multiple computers ... with no luck. So I'm sure the problem is with the monitor. I've never seen it happen before and help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
