Help! MX700 Needs To Be Reset After Every Restart.

If I restart my computer, the cursur will be frozen in the middle of the screen, and in order to get it to work, I have to press the connect button on the base, and then press the reset button on the mouse. The batteries are charged up, so that shouldn't be a problem, unless they are just old and worn out, but in that case the mouse wouldn't work after being reset, right? Why is it doing this all of a sudden lately? It never did this before. It does it coming out of hibernation, restart, etc. It works fine once connected, and has been doing it for the past month. I bought the mouse six months ago. Any suggestions?

But seriously its not connectiong at bootup? do you put it back on the charger everytime you reboot or what? Maybe you can try locating the station/charger somewhere else cause it might be picking up interference from something.

Like cordless phone, microwave, WLAN, speaker/monitor too close. Might wanna try switchen outlets/Surge protectors to see if that helps at all.
