Ok... I leave my system on 24/7. This morining when I turned the monitor on, it was stuck in a loop.

When booting, it gets past the nVidia RAID detection (I don't run RAID ATM); then I get a black screen for a few moments, then it is back to the BIOS spalsh screen. I tried booting Knoppix off a CD, but it dosn't get that far. I do not overclock Windows is on SATA.

Here are my system specs:
MSI K8N Neo2 Motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ NewCastle
Corsair XMS 2*512MB 2-2-2-5 DDR400
Thermaltake Volcano Heatsink w/ Arctic Silver 5
Thermaltake Xaser III Case w/ 420W PurePower Supply
MSI 6600GT
Western Digital 80GB SATA HD
Western Digital 120GB IDE HD

I have been running this 24/7 with SETI@home running for like a month and a half, error free. What should I do?

I'm running the same mobo, and my dad runs the socket 754 version, neither have this prob....however, my first Neo2 from mwave was bad (it was opened before I got it, all the seals were broken.)

Did you try flashing the bios? Can you even get into bios?

Chances are all you need to do is throw the jumper to clear the bios (you know, the one that is a SOB to get to at the very bottom of the board, below the orange wifi pci slot?) Just read the manual if you have no clue- they tell you how to flash it.

Then go through all BIOS settings and make sure they are all set right......since it isnt raid, try switching up where you have your SATA drives plugged in?

Lemme know what happens

I can get into the BIOS and cleared it... first inside it and then by doing the jumper thing. Still the same thing.
