I'm trying to get my 1.4Ghz Athlon to run on my MSI K7T Turbo, but I can't seem to get the voltage right. First off, the voltage as it reads in the bios is off. I set it at 1.70, and the PC Health Status screen says its running at 1.76. OK, I can deal with that, just remember to set it to around .5 lower than you want right? Well, that is just the first problem. When I finally boot into Windows, I run Motherboard monitor, and Sandra, and they BOTH say that the CPU core voltage is at 1.85!! So I reboot and go back into the bios and it says 1.76. What is going on here? The temps I'm getting in Windows seem to indicate that it is indeed running at 1.84, because at idle I'm seeing 66C (it is perfectly stable though). I would really like to get the voltage to where it belongs and then tweak from there.
BTW, this is with the newsest bios available from the MSI site.
Also, what is the default voltage setting for a 1400Mhz 266 T-Bird?
