I have some problems to overclock my new, shiny MSI K7T Pro-2A with my Athlon Thunderbird 750. When I choose a Frequency Multiplier, the .5 gives always 7.5x and the .0 gives 7.0. So, when I choose 9.0x, I actually underclock my computer to 700MHz. Wow. I don't know if there is any benefit to underclocking...
Something that I don't understand is that the same CPU was working very well on a Asus A7Pro board... I was able to change it to 9.0x without any problem. (Actually, the problem was the motherboard itself, it wasn't stable at all even if I was underclocking the cpu.)
I have connected all the L1 bridges... so what could be the problem? I even tried the three differents BIOSes at MSI support page. I have also played with the CPU Voltage... No results.
