my hdtv: Sony Bravia XBR1 32inch
http://store.sony.com/webapp/wcs/st...angId=-1&partNumber=KDLV32XBR1#specifications

The mount I want to buy:
http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10828&cs_id=1082806&p_id=6515&seq=1&format=2

What I know is that my TV's vesa mount is 200 x 100. It says on the specs of the mount it supports minimum 75x75 and max 200x200. And in another description it says:
Fits VESA patterns 75x75, 100x100, 200x200.

But my tv is 200x100. I know next to nothing about mounting a tv and about as far as I am right now is I just bought the stud finder. Just want to make sure I buy the right mount, I just need a small mount nothing fancy that will let me swivel the tv left and right even just a moderate amount so don't want to spend too much on it.

This will probably help: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flat_Display_Mounting_Interface

In short, the VESA patterns are LxW (in mm), and can subsequently be interchangeable. Example given: 75x200, 200x100, etc...

The only thing is to make sure that the screws you're using correctly match your TV's mounting holes, so you don't strip the holes. Luckily Sony has that listed for your TV:
VESA® Hole Pitch : 200 x 100 hole pattern/ M4 thread size/ 14mm hole depth
I know nothing about that mount in particular, but according to the listed specifics you should be fine.

Heh, fralexandr beat me to it! :D
