Help ! Moto x at&t unlock pin

Hey,

So I bought the off contact Moto X At&t unlocked version (yeah screw me for not picking t-mobile) and tried putting in my simple mobile sim. Even though the phone is supposedly unlocked, it asks me for a "SIM network unlock PIN". What to do ??

Talk to whoever told you it was SIM unlocked. They should have given you the unlock code, or have already unlocked it themselves.

If you bought it from an AT&T store, they will normally charge you for a SIM unlock.

If you bought it from the Motorola site, I'd imagine you'd have to return it since the AT&T Moto X is locked to AT&T. If you exchange for a T-Mobile one, you can use any gsm SIM.
