Help! Motherboard or Cpu problem?

I have a desktop with K6-2 350 MHz and I let my friend use mine for awhile. Now she told me that she had a problem about the computer.

When I powered it on, there was nothing come up to the monitor (just blank screen), and I'm sure that monitor is working well. So I suspected that there was the problem with the video card but it swap with the working one, I still got the same result.

So I thougth it might be some problem with the motherboard or cpu. I just wanna ask how I can I know which on cause problem.
