HELP... motherboard keeps rebooting endlessly... HELP

hello

I have p7p55d e pro , I5 750 . 2X2 1333 KINGSTONE , GTX 470 .

I had to travel with my pc so I took it apart and I carried it in my hand bag to make sure it is safe . when I arrived , I re-installed it again .
Surprisingly , the mother board keeps rebooting for ever and no boot at all , no monitor data , nothing at all , just a short beep .

but the cpu led turns on (red ) just before it restarts , so I thought it's PSU problem (OCZ 600 ) so I bought GIGABYTE 720 , but still the same problem .

I have deleted the cmos using the deleting jumper to reset the bios and still the same problem .

I tried to reinstall my computer out side the case to make sure there is no short and still the same problem .

I have unplugged all cables from the mother board except for cpu able and mother board cable and cpu fan and turned the computer by activating power jumper , but the still the same problem .

I tried to run the system with only one ram , but still the same problem .

THE MOTHER BOARD DOESN'T RESTART ONLY WHEN I UNPLUG THE CPU CABLE , BUT OF COURSE NO BOOT OCCURS .

ANY HELP PLEASE !! MY HEAD IS GONNA EXPLOOOODE

Also , I have been overclocking to 3 (not much ) , is this a problem ?...I believe clearing CMOS should reset the default frequency .

GUYS , I noticed that the short beep doesn't occur when I disconnect the SATA POWER CABLE . When I connect it one single beep occurs .

I tried to run the computer with no rams at all , it gave me the same short beep .
I expected it to give the no ram beep code but it did not .

Help please , I am loosing my mind !!

Have you tried resetting the BIOS either with a BIOS reset jumper or by removing the CMOS battery for 1 minute?

I hope you're well backed up. When this happens, I usually suspect a virus infection, and the surest way to get rid of it is to do a clean installation of Windows from the ground up.

If you need to save any critical files, install it on another drive. Then, when you have Windows and all of your protection software (AV, anti-spyware, firewall, etc.) installed and updated, you can shut down the machine, attach your old drive as a slave and boot to Safe Mode to copy the files you need.

Then, shut it down again, unplug the old drive reboot to Safe Mode and IMMEDIATELY do a complete (not quick) scan for viruses and spyware to catch any malware that may have infected your files.

You may have a virus that can be removed, but I've found that trying to do it can take more time than a fresh installation, and there's no guarantee you'll get all of it.

I am sorry but no boot occurs . .
I cann't even log to the bios and no data on the screen .
The motherboard reboots every 3 seconds .

I know it's a long shot, but did you check the psu to make sure it's set to the right voltage?

Also, have you disconnected everything unnecessary (hard drives, PCI cards, optical drives, etc.)?

It wouldn't be a bad idea to reseat (unplug and replug) all of your cables and your video card.

I got the mother board out side the case and put it on a paper box and I connected the 24 bin cable and the 4+4 bin cable of the cpu and the cpu fan cable and one ram and then powered the system by touching power jumpers with a screwdriver .I get the same problem with only one difference , I get no beeps at all.

I tested the new PSU on a very old PC but it worked fine .

The only thing I can think of is your problem is related to something which happened while you were breaking down the system.

I'm thinking something like a capacitor may have been bumped and is now disconnected or a small, foreign object in a ram slot. Could even be a CMOS battery gone bad. Not to disagree with Harvey, but I sincerely doubt this is virus caused.

I attempted to use your YouTube link, but it didn't work.

I am sure no kind of damage occurred to the mobo , I've checked all the capacitors and no thing actually touched the mobo while traveling , I've seen
the same problem on the internet with guys who just unplugged something and then plugged it again , I's a common problem with this board ,People solved it with a new PSU ,or missed cable , or new motherboard !!
But most of them used a PSU . May be the new one is not giving full power to the CPU , I didn't test it on a powerful CPU like the I5 750 , is it a possibility ?

What makes me astonished is that the beep never change and when I unplug SATA power cable it disappears !!This makes me suspect the mobo or may be the bios failed with rebooting and disconnecting power while trying to solve the problem !!

When the problem occured , I tested my OCZ 600 on a very old pc , it didn't work properly .
So I bought Gigabyte superb 720 watt and tested it on the old pc and it worked fine , then I connected it to my pc , but the problem is the same .

Hmm.. I think it's the motherboard, my guess is that you shorted out something that caused your board to malfunction. Sorry to say it but I believe that your only solution is to change the motherboard.

What a loss !!
I can't change it because I am out side the country .
When I'm back , I'll RMA it .
For now ,
I am thinking of buying a new cheap H55 to run the system !!
What do you think ?

I think it might be the ram. Try a known good stick and see if it boots.

This is a simple test to eliminate a fairly cheap part.

I tried both sticks one after another in different sockets .
I powered the mobo with no rams at all but it didn't give me the no-ram beep !!

the board won't post without ram.

try your ram in another PC and see if it works.

Right now , I got the mobo out on a paper box with the CPU , one stick of ram , 7200 GS instead of GTX 470 to provide more power for the system ,24 pin cable connected ,8 pin cable connected , HSF connected .

I powered the system with my screwdriver , no beeps at all , keeps restarting , no leds are turned on .

The only activated leds are CPU led (it turns on when I power the system and then turned off and then turned on again on restarting , 2 seconds later this occurs again and again....etc.
The green led is on indicating power in the mobo .

I tried to run the system with no rams at all but it's exactly the same .
