Help! Monitor keeps shutting off!

This is driving me crazy! My monitor keeps shutting off. At first, it would happen when I opened a new browser window or started up games like Q3A. Earlier today, however, it was just shutting off every few seconds.

I'm using a GeForce 2 MX card with a Gateway EV900 monitor. Drivers for the monitor are up to date and I'm using the adapter default. For the GeForce card I'm using Detonator 1241 drivers.

Any ideas what might be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey I had a Abit KT7 mobo that was the to blame for the same type problem,Something was wrong with the AGP operation,If you can get your hands on a PCI vid card give it a try it it still works replace the MOBO
