Help! Modding installation nightmare

Have I lost my mind? (don't answer.) OK I have been modding with 7 zip for ages. In Witcher 1, I loaded loose files into Override folder. OK However, I cannot load loose files from graphic replacement/enhancement files, even those in 7 zip format. Why? Because every time I try to extract or open files I get a closed folder. when I try to extract again I do NOT get this ex:📄 blik_sun.dds (699.2 kB, but insetead a set of pictures in DOS image. So how do I get to those loose files???
 
Nevermind...did what I should have done and went to modder's info...turns out either way works. loose files or folder
