help me!

hi

i think my computer has a virus...i can't open any of my executables so none of my programs work. and i don't have norton on my comp cuz when i put win2000 on there they didn't have one for it yet so anyways i tried putting it on there after but i cant execute that program either. does anybody know a virus that does this? or what i should do? thanks!

A lot of viruses do that. You might try heading to http://antivirus.cai.com and grabbing the free scanner.

oh that's cool...but i can't even open internet explorer (i'm on a friend's computer). i guess i'm just screwed...

hm... probably one of those random windows errors... after trouble-shooting, you'll probably end up re-installing the OS anyway...
