ok i used that UX Theme Patcher thing so i wouldent hav eto pay for Style XP. everyoen on here raves about it so i figured why not. well after i patehed it the thing came up saying i changed win files and to insert my XP disk so it could repair them. well i just changed it so i didnt wanna repair it. i restarted like t wanted me to and now my computer wont boot into windows. it gits past the lue windows loading screen, loads my desktop image and they just stops. wtf

I have my XP cd i just need tro know what files to copy off of it to make it work.

I can boot into safe mode with command prompt but not with networking.

so what do i need to copyt off teh CD or is there another way to fix this

uxtheme.dll is the file that gets replaced in c:\windows\system32, c:\windows\system32\dllcache, and if you have SP1, c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386. Overwrite those files with the original uxtheme.dll and it should fix it.
