Well, I was listening to my z 560 @ pretty low volume today and then all of the sudden the sub would not produce anymore bass! The speakers still work and everything but no bass is emitted. I have already tried a different control pod but the problem persisted. Any suggestions? Thank you

A fuse might have blown on it or any number of things. You might want to e-mail Logitech's nice customer support to see if they have any suggestions for you.

i'm thinking fuse as well.
or you melted a wire inside causing the two white-hot ends to fall, landing on the gerbil running on the wheel, which ironically, powers your 188+watt subwoofer. the smell of burning hampster hair is probally packed inside the airtight chamber where the gerbil is housed causing a buildup of gas which, with the burning wires, could ignite at any time. *giant mushroom cloud* you're best bet is to come with me if you want to live!
*ahem*
it's a fuse most likely

and a third for a fuse.

Good bet is to call Logitech....but personally I'd be opening it up with my multimiter handy and finding out what's wrong for myself :)

Don't know about a fuse but this one guy all of sudden had no bass and it turned out one of the connectors just came loose from the sub. I suggest taking the sub apart. From the front, don't take any screws out of the back. You have have to pop the grill off with a screw driver and the screws will be under it.

Don't take the front of the grill off, thats crazy, especially for this model. You get at the fuse from the back of the sub, take all of the screws off the back, it can take a decent amount of force to get it free from all of the stuff attached to the plate, just use common sense. If I remember correctly, the power cable is the one that gives the most resistance to taking the panel off... MOST IMPORTANT THING: When you pull it out/or push it in... (i forget, i havn't had those speakers in a while) there are a lot of cables attached to the back amp/panel that do not have a ton of slack, you do NOT want to pull wires out, it can be a little tricky, so be careful. The fuse is either on the on the back, or somewhere along the base of the inside of the sub. You'll see it.
