I don't like using Microsoft Word that often, but I am using it right now to make my resume. How do I make a straight line across the paper? I just need it below my name.

click on help, contents, and type in how to make a straight line.

EDIT: what a waste of a 10000th post

a straight line across the whole page or underline?

if you type "------------------" a bunch of dashes, and press enter, it will make it a solid line across the whole page.

if you want to underline, select the text and hit ctrl + U.

Still not the answer I wanted.

Geez it's not hard.

Hit the dash key -----------

Like that...then just hit enter. It will auto make one for you.

OMFG THX~! Once again ATOT has saved me time! Now, anyway to make it bolder?

save another document with just the line in the same place as the first one...then put the paper back in the printer and print over it like 3 more times.
