Okay, one day I shut down my computer, everything was working fine. Then when I boot my computer, Windows will not load. I checked my BIOS and my HDD were not identified correctly. It looked something like MAXTOR64HAS!!!!!! So then, I took my Win98 bootdisk and tried to use chkdsk or scandisk to correct the problem. However, the bootdisk would not detect my HDD because it will look for HDD with FAT or FAT32 file system, whereas my system uses NTFS (Win 2000 Pro).
I have experienced this problem before, and successfully fixed the problem. However, I forgot how I managed to do it since it was a long time ago. Any suggestion that might lead to the solution to this problem will be appreciated. My thanks in advance.
