Help me with Vista please

Ok, so my 80GB primary drive that I install the OS on failed just before I installed vista.

Dell is sending me a replacement but I want to use vista before that arrives.

I made a 30 GB partition on my second hard drive (320 GB) and am installing vista there.

Once my 80 GB replacment arrives, will it be fairly easy to move my vista install to that drive? I have acronis TI version 8 and that should work if I boot from the disk, correct?

Great timing for a hard drive failure...
 
If I install Vista now, should I just use it without activating? Will I have any problems re-activating in less than a week if I active now?
