OK, first off, I'll tell ya what I have

3 machines with WindowsXP Professional
each one is hooked up to a Linksys 4port router.
the linksys router is hooked to cable modem...

When I set up each machine, I made each one part of a workgroup called Enterprise. The 3 computers on the workgroup are Kirk, Spock, and Mccoy. (geeky I know)

each computer can see the other 2 on My Network Places, and my printer which is hooked up to McCoy is a network printer that the other 2 computers can print from.

My problem is that one of the 3 computers won't let the other 2 access it. THe machine called "Kirk" can see the other 2 computers, and I can access shared folders on those two computers, however when I try to access Kirk from the other two, it asks for a username and password????

WTF is wrong? any suggestions?

By any chance does "Kirk" have only a NTFS npartition and the other have at least 1 FAT 32. If so it would need a password to access that computer.
