I have a DeWalt drill that I have been using for the last year or so. I just received a huge 250 piece drill bit set as a gift.
The problem is I am not exactly sure how I am supposed to use all of the bits. Half of the bits have a hex connector. The other half have round connectors.
I used one of the round connector bits in my drill and it worked fine going into some wood, but when I tried to back it out the chuck just spun around the bit. It basically wouldn't grab the bit at all. I now have a piece of 4x4 with a bit stuck in it.
Are you supposed to use the round bits the same way as the hex bits?
Chuck
Bits
Thanks!
