Rightyho, i'm not a pentium expert by any stretch of the imagination however the 805 is only really a good CPU when it's overclocked, also they tend to need the more expensive motherboards to do so.
There is an alternative, you go for an AM2 CPU instead:

At stock settings it'll be faster in games, a bit slower for DVD transcoding or other number crunching applications and the AM2 motherboards are better about overclocking for the most part.
But there are a few people using 805s overclocked around, if you run a search for 805 in the CPU forum you can see how other people did with it.
