First and foremost don't waste your money on a 600W PSU :| ;)

Even assuming you're overclocking, leaving room for upgrades and possible SLI in the future you're still only really looking at a 500W PSU. Seasonic are a good brand, i use one myself, but not that model for you, it's just too expensive.

A nice shiny enermax.

A cheap and cheerful OCZ modstream.

Silverstone, a nice solid brand.

These would all still classed as overkill. A 400W version of any of the above would handle that system with a notable overclock and leave room for upgrades.

Motherboard- Are you overclocking? Do you need firewire or any other fancy features?

A newer HD will be faster, but you can just stick with your current one without any penalty

Rightyho, i'm not a pentium expert by any stretch of the imagination however the 805 is only really a good CPU when it's overclocked, also they tend to need the more expensive motherboards to do so.

There is an alternative, you go for an AM2 CPU instead:

At stock settings it'll be faster in games, a bit slower for DVD transcoding or other number crunching applications and the AM2 motherboards are better about overclocking for the most part.

But there are a few people using 805s overclocked around, if you run a search for 805 in the CPU forum you can see how other people did with it.

Get dual-core. No reason not to since they're so cheap. Or they will be cheap on Jul 23rd.
