help me with my new camera

I have the SD300 as well and I do not get those lines.

Was this a new camera or did you get it used? Maybe you should try restoring all settings to default.
 
yeah, thats awful, something is wrong there.

anyone have any recommendations on settings to shoot with on the sd300? i get a blur quite often...

do you guys adjust ISO?
 
i noticed with XP it still shows them liney, readjust the picture to FULL size in Firefox and it makes the lines that you see when it makes it small go away...

A normal camera should produce non-liney pics at full size.

camera is borked (op) send it back

yes just up the ISO, that will give u steadier looking shots, but they will be more grainy. u could just buy a tripod though
 
🙁 i was really hoping that this camera would be a real winner. I just requested a refund from the e-bay seller 🙁 boooo!!
 
The seller didn't include a return policy. How did you pay (with a CC I hope)?

E-mail the seller with the pictures you showed us and describe the problem. If they offer to refund, all is okay.

If not, chargeback (if you paid with CC). Otherwise you are SOL.
 
i paid with paypal a non-cc account, i emailed them about the issue i will see what they say. i gave em links to the pictures hopefully they will honor a refund I have only had the camera for like 2 days i had to wait to even use it until flash memory came because it wasn't included in the purchase.
 
meanwhile could someone with an SD300 post some sample images they've taken so i can compare.... i kinda like the camera and would like to purchase a fully functioning good working one if the images are MUCH MUCH better then what ive been getting... (Id go to the store and buy one.) anyone?

ill bbl im going to go outside and test he camera some more and make sure its not the lighting in my room or something, ill be back with more pics
