i'd get the 4000+. they both can probably OC to the same speed, but with the 4200+ you won't have the extra performance from the bigger cache.

Assuming you aren't interested in overclocking, definitely get the 4200, just not from that site. ZipZoomFly sell it even cheaper: link. You do realize that those are the AM2 chips, don't you? I.E., they won't fit on your Skt. 939 motherboard, assuming you have one. Just a head's up.

could use more help on mobo choice plz? ive been looking for one that will be stable and wont give me much problems. all mobos ive read of have had heating problems, random crashes, chipset fan failures?, no space for pci cards becuz of vid cards, memory compatibility issues, non functional ethernet port and sound card, and a whole bunch of other problems that sounds too big in my opinion to ignore. under $150 plz and i dont really care about overclocking or sli for that matter. ill never have the money to justify putting 2 vid cards in 1 system, not anytime soon at least.

that extra performance you speak of is negligable at best and you're losing the extra speed of the 4200+ which is more important. For the mobo, save $50 and get an asus m2n-e or an MSI k9n platinum. Both are very good, but the asus will not take all RAM. You should be fine with corsiar valueselect though...
