Ok folks it's time for me to upgrade...i will post my system specs and i want feedback what to get now or just wait for new chipsets to come out. i play mostly games that's all

And your upgrading Why??? Most people on here would kill to have the system you...(not me though, I have a 1.2 GHz Tbird system that flies!!LOL)
 
I agree, just keep your rig and get a big-arse monitor or something. Games are so much nicer to play at high-res on a 19" or bigger monitor.

shouldnt upgrade now...maybe max out the ram...thats about it....and a big screen 19 or 21....but a gig is still good...
 
Might want to slap a 512 MB Dimm in there
Maybe another bigger hard drive, like a 60 Gig or so 7200 rpm,
and get you a supersized monitor.
Nothing really wrong with your setup.
I imagine if you want to part it out, it would go like hotcakes.

Forget what everyone else is saying. It sounds to me like you want to upgrade because you are addicted, dont worry, I am too😉. I would get a SCSI setup. Sure, it might be really expensive, and might not be that much a performance increase. But come one! No true geek would be complete without a SCSI computer.

No zip drive? Hmm... Thats a nice system. Why don't you throw another stick of 256 in there, upgrade to win2k and go with a dual mon setup? That'll be nice. Perephs? Do you have toys? Webcam, new opt mouse, microsoft natural pro keyboard, Microsoft Sidewinder voice, new speakers, I can go on and on. What about a nice pair of headphones for late night gaming?
