I feel the need for an upgrade and I have not kept up on all the new hardware that is coming out. I feel my video card is becoming quickly inferior and I cannot overclock my processor for the life of me and as far as cooling goes, I have plenty of it. Should I upgrade to a PCI Express motherboard, and if so which ones should I be looking at? If I go with PCI Express then what video cards will outperform my current one and not cost me a fortune. Also which processors would provide the best overclocking ability and performance for the price. I don't wanna go crazy spending wise, but I will sell my excess hardware to make up for what I spend, so I also wanna know how much my 6800ultra is worth these days and how much that athlon64 combined with my Motherboard would sell for if I were to sell it.

Current Motherboard:
Asus A8V Deluxe Socket 939, VIA K8T800Pro+VT8237 AGP 8x

Current Processor:
Athlon64 3200+ Socket 939 Winchester Core

Current Memory:
Corsair 2x512mb-CMX512-3200XL 2-2-2-5
Also have
Corsair 2x512mb-CMX512-3200C2PT 2-3-3-6 (not installed)
(which memory chips would be more suitable for overclocking?)
Current Video Card:
eVGA Geforce 6800Ultra 256MB GDDR3 AGP 8x

Current Storage:
2xMaxtor Diamond Max 10 300gb 16mb Cache Hard drives: 1xSata 1xATA133

Current Sound Card:
Audigy 2 ZS "Gamer Edition"

You know what... nevermind.. I figured this one out on my own, and I've come to the conclusion that I must sound like a moron asking these questions, I think the upgrade I need is an Athlon64 3700+

If you want to keep your CPU and video card for the moment, you can go for a board that supports both AGP and PCI-E - namely the ASRock 939Dual-SATA2.

What's the highest clock you've hit with that CPU, and what voltage? What temps?
