Ok, I'm upgrading from my 2200+ and want to max out the board. I have a DFI lanparty mb, and hyperx ram, Choices are...

AMD Athlon XP 2600+ "Barton", 55 Watt, 333MHz FSB, 512K Cache

or

AMD Mobile Athlon XP 2500+, 266 FSB, 512K Cache, 45 Watt

or

AMD Mobile Athlon XP 2600+, 266 MHz FSB, 512K L2 Cache Processor,45 Watt

...Im trying to keep it under xor at ~$100. All mobiles are unlocked, right? I'd really like to see 2.2ghz running stable. Newegg of course!

I never even noticed the 2400+ 35w. Looks like a good one. I was about to get the 2600 mobile but this one looks like a contender.

My 2400+ 35W does 2.3GHz @ 1.75v on cheap air. :laugh:
I'm sure it would go higher. But for running a screen saver, 2.3GHz should be more than enough.

I'm running an XP Mobile 2400+ 35 watt chip in a Shuttle AN35N Ultra. 1.725volts for 2.4Ghz rock solid (12x200fsb). With my ThermalTake Silent Boost I never break 45c running Prime 95. She's pretty snappy.
