Currently, I have a GTX 470.

I have 2x 30 inch dell panels U3011 and will be upgrading to 4x in the next few weeks. I only use 1for gaming but I want to support all 4 panels for productivity.

I plan on getting a new graphics card when i add the two additional panels.

Im not sure the best course of action. Im leaning towards selling the 470 and getting a 6970 2gb card i can get a 4x dp card

Considering this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-430-_-Product

but then again its about $65 more than a 2 port card.

Some things I am considering: 5870 2gb x2 but this is about $450.

If they ever went on sale again at $200 then i think thats a good choice but i cant wait for that.

basically, I think I need 2gb on the card to play at this res.

another choice could be getting another 470. but i dont think thats a great choice.

this will be going in a 2600k build.

thanks!

That Asus card is a monster. Review sites have hit 1100 core and 1500 mem with it. If your looking for the best card for the money that is indeed it.

That card is the best choice for you. It's the most powerful card that can power all your displays and manage to game on one of them.

Yet different needs, he needs a 4 display setup the other thread is about gaming.

Sorry you're right. I only read the title and gaming on 1 monitor part. So yeah 6970 is the best bet if you plan on playing multi-monitor.
