My left Asus PA246Q (1 of 2 in a dual monitor setup) recently developed an annoying quirk. It twitches. The entire screen jumps vertically. Sometimes after a few twitches the screen will switch to black for about a second. It's intermittent and unpredictable.
If this description isn't clear enough, I filmed it and uploaded a video to YouTube.
My first thought was a hardware problem, probably the internal power supply. However, it only seems to exhibit this behavior in the Windows desktop - I've played games in fullscreen mode for an entire day without this occurring.
My video card is a NVidia GTX460, and I'm using the current drivers. I have no idea what's going on, and I don't know if it would even be productive to send the monitor in for service since it could be the video card or a software issue.
