Also, inexpensive.
Debating whether or not to run the R&R Las Vegas this December as Elvis. The costume would need to be comfortable enough to run the full marathon in a Las Vegas December, but also durable enough to make it through at least one field test run of 20+ miles a few weeks before. I'd rather not have to pay for dry cleaning.
It'll also need to handle having a fuel belt around the waist.
Not looking for a wig or glasses or anything like that though.
Most of the costume shops I've looked at offer Elvis costumes, but I doubt they will stand up to that kind of punishment and they're not machine washable.
A few google searches revealed a few custom makes of unique Elvis costumes, but they are out of state so I'd have to get them a set of measurements and they'll be pricey.
