Help me to OC my celeron

Hi there
i have a celeron2 566 with BH6 and a slotket, now i got this system almost 8 months ago and i used to run 850 stable. then i went back to 566 for a few months, but recently i tried oc again but the system woul;d give BSOD when window loads. i upped the volt to 1.8 and it didnt help. should i try slapping some artic silver paste onto the cpu? or could something else be wrong?
 
Is the current thermal paste is good shape (not dried out?) dust all cleaned off?
what about case temp?
I'd check some of that easy stuff first.
