help me to decide the mobo chipset

hi friend,

i am just confused about motherboard chipset.

i am going to build a system.
i would like to play the latest game and also do video editing.

i would like to buy

intel quad core processor Q95*/Q96*
gefoce 260 gfx gfxcard
i can buy upto 4 gb ram but do not know till now whether adobe application support 64 bit xp or not?
22" lg monitor

now my question is

which chipset for the board should i prefer.

p35,p45,q45,x38,x48,780i sli

i am not going to upgrade then that in the near by future.

i hopr this description will be helpful to understand what i would like to ask.

i can spend around $300-$350 dollar for that.

Hey Raj,

I recommend you stay with the Intel Chipset: it's pretty much the standard, works, no problems. Well supported, stable.

Any of the chipsets that work with the CPU you choose will be fine; it does not make a huge difference, unless you want SLI, or other specialized features. Whichever motherboard complements your CPU that uses an Intel chipset will be fine.

New system? Time for Windows 7 64 bit....you can use all that RAM, will work fine with Adobe, etc. Might as well do ti right from the get go.
