Help me think of ideas ATOT!

I want to build a crazy contraption that does something cool, kind of like an automated process. I don't have much yet in terms of motors to work with (only 1) but I have a lego train that goes around on metal tracks, and about a metric ass load of pieces from two sets I picked up today along with the accumulation of others from years past.

Suggestions?

To make a really cool "contraption", you'll need some variation of mindstorms and plenty of motors/sensors. What you could do right now is make a really cool model that might move a little.

Yeah, I use to have the Mindstorms set but I sold it a long time ago :-(. All I really need is to get the motors and sensors which they have now in a seperate "Power Adder" thing that you can buy. Still, it's not like I couldn't start doing something that would eventually require using them
