I just setup something similiar for my bro. Next I am looking to set it up for my home so I can monitor my house 24/7.
 
Wow, what a coincidence. The college I'm going to is constructing a new building and I thought it would be cool to have a webcam on it while it was being built and have something like time-lapse shots taken so you could see the whole building process at the end, and I come here and somebody has the same idea (but is actually implementing it).

Oh, and webcam works fine for me.

Cool, we're doing time lapse photography as well (from two view points)
I'm not sure how frequent those will be though, this project will be complete in 2006 and is costing 27 million.
